At Action Plus, we cover a wide range of professional sporting events around the globe, including EPL football, EFL Championship football, Formula 1, MotoGP, Wimbledon, professional level cricket and professional level rugby just to name a few. While much of our photography team is based in the UK, we work with photographers throughout the world who share a passion for elite-level sports coverage and visual storytelling.
Our photographers are trusted to capture the emotion, intensity, peak action and defining moments of every event they cover. Beyond strong photographic ability, we place a high value on professionalism, communication, reliability, efficient workflow, and precise editorial captioning. The ability to work effectively under pressure while consistently delivering high-quality images is essential to our operation.
Images produced by Action Plus photographers are published worldwide across major newspapers, magazines, sports websites, digital media platforms, commercial publications, and global editorial distribution networks. Equipment Requirements
Our photographers use professional mirrorless camera systems and high-end professional lenses capable of meeting the demands of fast-paced sports coverage. Fast telephoto lenses are essential for many of the events covered by our team, as we strive to consistently deliver the highest quality imagery to our clients.
Photographers must also be comfortable working in a live editorial environment, including real-time image editing, metadata management, caption writing, and rapid image transmission from events. Strong proficiency in industry-standard software such as Photo Mechanic and Adobe Lightroom / Adobe Photoshop is expected.
